Logan Ebel

Founder/Chair/Volunteer

Logan has spent most of his career in non-profit work. His passion for solving social issues and inequities has led him to design numerous community solutions including Think Empowered. 
He has a curious mind and is always seeking to learn new things. He is also an avid traveler who will find any excuse to road trip cross country. Logan prefers to take the road less traveled and chase historic markers. He prioritizes fostering memories with loved ones, frequent trips with family, and mindful conversations with strangers. 
Logan lives in Nashville, Tennessee but is ever working towards diversifying what constitutes as home. His family has roots throughout the country including Tennessee, Louisiana, Ohio and Alaska. 

Charles Seymour

Secretary/Former Fellow/Volunteer

Charlie recently graduated from UC Santa Barbara and has worked at several startups over the past two years. He is currently working as a research associate at an economic consulting firm. He has a passion for problem solving and taking on real-world puzzles. 
Charlie has spent the past several years studying the investing landscapes of companies developing climate change solution technologies. He has a love of art, building, and creation across many medias and disciplines. He enjoys working with friends and colleagues on creative projects ranging from making music to building socially responsible products and initiatives. Charlie also loves to cook, in particular, he loves learning new recipes for Italian and Chinese cuisine. 
Charlie is from Connecticut and currently lives in Manhattan, New York. He hopes to travel back to Santa Barbara sometime soon.

Nora Pulido

Fellow

Nora Pulido is a third-year Economics and Linguistics double major at the University of California, Santa Barbara. At UCSB, Nora is the Portfolio Manager of the Energy & Utilities sector as part of an undergraduate-run long-only equity and fixed-income fund.
She has plans to intern at Lincoln International to work in Technology & Healthcare M&A investment banking next summer. In her future career, Nora hopes to pursue impact investment banking or work in an ESG-focused private equity firm. She is also interested in disruptive business models and startups within the venture capital space. One day, she hopes to start her own nonprofit to help founders build sustainable businesses.
In her free time, Nora can be found doing anything in the outdoors, from golfing to backpacking. With her scuba certification, Nora continues to enjoy exploring the natural landscape of where she lives. Nora strives to make the most of her time in Santa Barbara, gaining valuable life experience to assist her in her future aspirations.
